Hand luggage

Ryanair and EasyJet are the most used low-cost airlines thanks to their competitive prices. If your destination is relatively close. you can travel with a simple hand luggage and. thus. save your baggage check-in costs.

Airlines allow passengers to carry on board just one piece of hand luggage with defined maximum dimensions and weight. Hand luggage that exceeds allowable size and weight means that you may have to check-in your luggage. thus incurring fees.

Size and weight of hand luggage
The maximum allowable weight for hand luggage is 10 Kg and the total size allowed is 115 cm. The latter includes the combined measurements for height. width. and depth (55x40x20). Hand luggage can be used to store almost everything you need. even if there is a limit on quantity for specific product types.

It is possible to store liquids. lotions. gel and creams in containers that do not exceed 100 ml. which must be placed in 20x20 transparent plastic bags. and have a capacity of less than 1 liter. The bag is pulled out of the hand luggage and examined at check-in.

No other hand luggage. like bags. laptops and cameras and over-the-shoulder bags are allowed on board. The only luggage present at check-in must be the hand luggage. So. any additional piece of hand luggage must be stored inside it and combined weight of all contents must meet the required weight allowance.

Types of hand luggage
We recommend that you choose a trolley case. or a soft suitcase or backpack. because they suit aircraft spaces.
